Strauss, Mozart, Dvorak & Opera with Ballet

Sat, Aug 22 2026 · 20:00 · 60 min | Municipal House (Obecní dům), Smetana Hall | 60 min
About the concert

Waltzes, arias and ballet beneath the stained-glass dome — Strauss, Mozart and Dvořák in Smetana Hall of Prague's Municipal House.

The Prague Classical Orchestra conducted by František Pok, with opera soloists and dancers of the Arabesque ballet school, performs the most beloved melodies of Strauss, Mozart and Dvořák — from the Emperor Waltz and the Queen of the Night to the rousing Radetzky March.

Smetana Hall, the grand ceremonial hall of the Art Nouveau Municipal House (1912), is one of Prague's most beautiful concert venues and the main stage of the world-famous Prague Spring festival — it was here that Czechoslovak independence was proclaimed in 1918.
