The Czech Collegium chamber ensemble, soprano Michaela Šrůmová and trumpeter Miroslav Kejmar perform a program ranging from Verdi, Handel and Puccini to Bernstein, Queen and Cohen's Hallelujah, with traditional Jewish songs.
The Spanish Synagogue, built in 1868 in dazzling Moorish Revival style inspired by the Alhambra, is widely regarded as the most beautiful synagogue in Europe — its golden arabesques and rare acoustics make it an unforgettable concert setting in the heart of Prague's Jewish Quarter.
