About the concert

Soloists of the National Theatre in Prague — from Bach's festive cantata to Puccini's O mio babbino caro in St. Nicholas Church on Old Town Square.

The Consortium Pragense Orchestra, mezzo-soprano Yvona Škvárová, oboist Vratislav Vlna and organist Michal Hanzal perform a journey through the centuries — from Bach's festive cantata and Händel's Fireworks to Dvořák's Ave Maria and Puccini's beloved arias.

St. Nicholas Church on the Old Town Square is renowned for its breathtaking Baroque interior and some of the finest acoustics in Prague — classical concerts beneath Asam's frescoes are a long and popular tradition here.
