Vivaldi's Four Seasons alongside Czech and operatic favourites in the magnificent Smetana Hall of Prague's Municipal House.
The Smetana Hall is the most beautiful concert hall in Prague and the main hall of the Art Nouveau Municipal House, built in 1912 on the site of the former Royal Court. One of the prime stages of the world-famous Prague Spring Festival — and the place where the independent Czechoslovak Republic was proclaimed in 1918 — its Art Nouveau splendour, with paintings on Slavic themes, a stained-glass ceiling and gilded lamps, makes every concert a special occasion.
