Great arias and the second-oldest organ in Prague — famous organ concerts in the baroque Church of St. Francis, right by Charles Bridge.
Enjoy great arias with organ in the Church of St. Francis of Assisi. This is a popular organ concert thanks to its unique dramaturgy and high artistic level — the rich sound of the baroque organ paired with solo instruments or voice.
Thirty minutes before the concert, festive fanfares ring out from the church steps, played by two trumpeters in stylized costumes on heraldic trumpets.
Imagine going back in time to hear music as it sounded in Mozart's day. Spend an evening in the beautiful baroque interior of the Church of St. Francis of Assisi in the heart of Prague, listening to the city's second-oldest organ, built in 1702 and carefully restored to its original baroque tuning. Mozart and Dvořák themselves are known to have played this historic instrument, and today esteemed Czech musicians perform famous baroque pieces interspersed with other exquisite musical treasures.
