Café Mozart combines live music with one of Prague’s closest indoor views of the Astronomical Clock, directly across Old Town Square.
Located on the first floor of Grand Hotel Praha, the café offers music among dining tables rather than in a conventional auditorium. Its elevated windows face the Old Town Hall, making the clock and the square part of the atmosphere inside.
A front-row view of the Astronomical Clock
The hotel stands at Staroměstské náměstí 481/22, almost directly opposite the clock. From the café, guests can watch the historic façades and activity of Old Town Square from above.
A late-Baroque café
The interior has a late-Baroque character and displays Meissen porcelain and historical clocks. Together with its decorative furnishings, these details make the room feel more like an elegant salon than a traditional concert hall.
Music on a café scale
Café Mozart hosts piano music and concert evenings alongside dining. Performers and listeners share the same compact room, creating an intimate experience shaped by the music, the historic interior and the illuminated square outside.
