A symphony of timeless elegance: Baroque to Romantic Splendor at St. Giles Church

St. Giles Church has a unique baroque-romantic organ from the 18th century. The organ has 3,500 pipes and is known for its exceptional sound. It is among the favourite concert instruments of leading Czech and foreign musicians. Milos Forman used the interior of the church in his movie Amadeus.

The Dvořák Symphony Orchestra was founded in the 1960s on the initiative of top musicians. Its current members are also leading players in the most renowned Czech orchestras (Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Prague Symphony Orchestra, National Theatre Orchestra and others). The orchestra has performed in most European countries, the USA, Japan and South Korea.
