A native of Korea, Soprano Yoon-Sook Lee is currently Professor of Vocal Performance at Yonsei University, Korea.mShe made her operatic debut with the National Opera of Korea for the opening gala of Opera House in Seoul Arts Center. Lee has appeared in various operas and concerts in the United States, Europe and Korea. She performed the major roles in such operas as Le Nozze di Figaro, Don Giovanni, Magic Flute, Madama Butterfly, La Boheme, Gianni Schichi, Carmen, Cavallrria Rusticana, Cosi fan tutte in Korea, U.S.A., Austria, and Czech Republic.
Lee went to the College of Music, Yonsei University and earned her Master of Music from New England Conservatory of Music, Boston in the U.S.A. Her numerous awards include the regional finalist in Metropolitan National Councils Auditions New England District, the first prize in the Capitol Opera Annual Competition, and the Best Opera Singer Award from The Artys Annual Award Association, U.S.A.
